FAQS

DOES MY NEW MACHINE COME IN A BOX?

All machinery that we sell comes fully PDI'd - we assemble it in our workshop with fuel and oil (where applicable) and check it's running. This means that there is nothing for you to do to it when you get it home and it should be ready for you to start cutting.

Our experts will explain how to start the machine, operate it correctly (where applicable) and inform you of the warranty period. 

CAN I PURCHASE AN ITEM ONLINE AND PICK IT UP AT THE STORE?

Unfortunately we do not have an online store but you can email / telephone us to purchase an item - we can then send you an invoice by email with a link to pay for it securely so that you do not have to call in to store to complete the transaction.

 

If the item is not in stock with us then machines usually take a couple of days to come into store from our suppliers.

We will contact you when the machine is ready for you to collect at a convenient time or we can deliver locally (up to 10 miles) for free,

 

DO YOU OFFER A DELIVERY SERVICE?

We offer free local delivery (up to 10 miles) on garden machinery (excluding handhelds) purchased from ourselves. On service and repairs we can collect and deliver your machines back to you but there is a charge for this:

Up to 5 miles      £10.00 & VAT    Mowers and Handhelds

                              £20.00 & VAT   Ride-ons

Up to 10 miles    £20.00 & VAT   Mowers and Handhelds

                              £40.00 & VAT   Ride-ons

Over 10 miles     £ POA

One way is charged at half of the cost above.

Please note: the price is per delivery so if more than one machine is collected/delivered back to you at the same time there will only be one delivery charge.

WHAT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM UNDER WARRANTY?

If you have any problems just give us a call.

Sometimes an issue can be resolved over the telephone - it's surprising how many many machine run out of fuel!

We undertake warranty repairs in our on-site workshop and are usually able to quickly identify and remedy any problems. If the issue means a new part is required, we stock a large selection of spares. If we do not have a part in then our suppliers usually deliver in 1-3 days (provided that they have the part in stock).

If a problem falls within the manufacturers warranty conditions then there will usually be no cost to you.

PLEASAE NOTE: collection/delivery charges are not covered under warranty for most manufacturers.
